With a strong foundation in leadership, business management, and community service, Mehabub (Meha) Abawajy brings a wealth of experience to the healthcare and adult care industry. Since the beginning of 2024, Meha has served as Director of Harmony Adult Daycare, initially operating the organization in partnership with limited decision-making authority. Since becoming the sole owner in mid-2025, Meha has fully applied extensive professional expertise, strategic leadership, and a client-centered vision to strengthen and expand the organization’s impact.
Meha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Washington and a Juris Doctor degree from Seattle University School of Law. This combination of business, legal, and analytical training has supported a career focused on operational excellence, advocacy, and compassionate service.
In addition to leading Harmony Adult Daycare, Meha previously managed Friendly Healthcare/Adult Daycare for six months and has extensive experience overseeing complex operations. Over the course of a distinguished career, Meha successfully managed a company valued at approximately $3 million and supervised more than 70 employees, demonstrating strong organizational leadership, financial management, and team development skills.
Beyond professional accomplishments, Meha has dedicated more than two decades to voluntary community leadership and service. Deeply committed to supporting vulnerable populations, Meha believes that serving individuals with disabilities and the elderly is not only a responsibility, but a true privilege. Through compassionate leadership and community engagement, Meha continues to advocate for dignity, quality care, and meaningful support for those in need.
